Description

DLA Aviation -Philadelphia intends to award a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Long Term Contract for spares in support of the F-18 Landing Gear Program. This contract will require the contractor to provide spares to Navy and FMS customers for approximately 46 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) in support of the F-18 A-D Landing Gear (see list below). This IDIQ contract is directly for the manufacture of spares in support of the F-18 A-D Landing Gear and is anticipated to be Firm, Fixed-Price. The period of performance is 5 years with no option periods. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute an RFP or commitment by the government. Sources that are not approved for manufacture of these items must obtain NAVSUP-WSS source approval and a Licensing Agreement with Boeing to be eligible for award. Entities seeking to become an approved source of supply for any of the items covered by this notice should note that the time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Please note that if the evaluation of source approval requirements precludes the ability to obtain subject items in time to meet Government requirements, award of the subject requirement may continue based on support needs.
