Description
Mountain Home Boundary Line Maintenance, Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes 1. GENERAL: This is a non-personnel services contract to provide boundary maintenance services for Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes. Contractor and sub-contractor employees performing the services under contract are employees of the respective companies to whom they were hired/employed. 1.1 Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform boundary maintenance as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. 1.2 Background: All previously surveyed and marked boundary line is on a rotation in which all sections of marked line are maintained about once every five years. Boundary line to be maintained is divided into (approximate) 10 mile work order segments. Bidders should be aware that portions of the boundary required to be maintained under this contract may not have been cut, painted, or had any maintenance performed for as many as 5 to 7 years, and may require considerable cutting of growth and/or re-growth of brush, vegetation, and trees as troach line may not be visible. 1.3 Objectives:  Locating and marking survey monuments  Painting of the boundary line  Setting monument and online posts as necessary  Identifying and logging all observed trespasses/encroachments with type and reference to nearest survey monument  Clearing vegetation from the troach area (if the work order requires) 1.4 Scope: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools and supplies, except as otherwise provided for herein, required to perform clearing and marking of surveyed boundary lines of Government property surrounding Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes. The contractor is required to identify and document any trespass encroachments found on Government property and all missing survey monuments as service is performed. All services shall be performed as specified and in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, general and special contract requirements, specifications, drawings, attachments, and exhibits contained herein or incorporated by reference.
