- Homestead Fire Department training videos, below is a descriptions of requested training videos for CEU's that the fire department must maintain in the annual training plan. Homestead Air Reserve Base intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price, contract to Action Training Systems, Inc. This specific training material and format is only provided by Action Training that the Fire Department must maintain in the annual training plan. No other product will interface. This procurement is being issued using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. The authority for the sole source procurement is cited at FAR 13.106-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be available. Firms that believe that it can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose to notify.
