Description
The U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement for Light Emitting Diode (LED) Marine Lanterns for USCG Waterways Operations Product Line (WOPL) used by the Aids to Navigation (ATON) units across the U.S. Coast Guard that meet the requriements identified in the USCG Specifications. These specifications will include certain measurements, optical performance, power and control systems, service life and maintenance, size's and mass, mounting provisions, and environmental condition requirements. In addition, the contractor(s) then will have to be able to deliver them in approved packaging to multiple U.S. Coast Guard units throughtout the world. Contractor(s) shall perform in accordance with the awarded contract(s) and comply with all applicable federal, state, local and municipal laws, regulations and requirements; all industry standards/references; and, all Government and Coast Guard Regulations, attachments and exhibits listed in the Solicitation applicable to the performance of the contract(s) and to contractor personnel. The contractor( s) shall instruct and guide its employees regarding any directives provided by the U.S. Coast Guard and shall provide the necessary program management oversight to assure that all delivery schedules are met and that subcontracted parts and services meet all requirements of the contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. The solicitation package will be available at this site on or about 11 Sept 2018. No paper copies of the solicitation will be distributed.
