Description

CONSTRUCTION Replace Domestic Water Backflow Device. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Greater Los Angeles VA Health Care System (GLAVAHCS-Sepulveda) has a requirement to remove and replace the domestic water backflow device in building 4. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of work. The Government will not reimburse the firm for their bid preparation cost. Statement of Work, will be issued as part of the solicitation. There will be no drawings or specifications issued for this requirement. The GLAVAHCS-Sepulveda Facilities Management requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified supervision, engineering, and services for the required work. This notice is issued by NCO-22 Gilbert, Located in Phoenix Arizona. However, work is to be performed at the following VA facility: GREATER LOS ANGELES VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (SEPULVEDA): VAMC: 16111 Plummer Street, North Hills, CA 91343 This construction project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $15M.   The resulting contract will be a firm fixed construction contract. The period of performance of the contract is intended to be 14 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between $25,000 and $100,000. It is anticipated that a Solicitation will be issued in Aug, 2018. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE OTHER THAN WHAT IS NOTED HEREIN.
