- Description
- USPFO of Louisiana intends to award a sole source procurement to Southern Hospitality Group, LLC, 701 4th Street, Alexandria, LA 71301-8431. The award is in support of the Yellow Ribbon event supporting the 165th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion held in Alexandria, LA on 7-9 September 2018. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 532420 and the small business size standard is $32.5 million. This has been determined to be the best and most effective option for the government considering duplication of effort costs. The government has completed extensive market research and found that only one hotel can accommodate the requirements of the Reintegration Office (hotel rooms and meals) and the requirements of the meeting space in close proximity of the hotel. All potential qualified sources must respond not later than 29 August 1000 CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
