Description

The 436th Contracting Squadron, Dover AFB, DE intends to issue a sole-source Request for Quote (RFQ) to AeroFlex Wichita Inc. for IFF Tester. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR13.106-1(b)(1). AeroFlex Wichita Inc. is currently the only known source able to provide the required supplies/service. This notice does not constitute a solicitation document. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No payment will be made for any information received in response to this announcement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515 and the size standard is 750 employees. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements to the identified points of contact no later than 8:00AM EST on August 30, 2018.
