Description

Question Request Form for Advances Questions Registration Form to attend Industry Day event The Naval Oceanographic Office is holding an Industry Day for the conversion of a 34 foot, Hydrographic Survey Launch (HSL) to optionally manned control. All interested parties are invited to participate in the event on September 13, 2018 at the Naval Oceanographic Office, Boat Operations Branch. The event will take place from 0830 until 1600; registration for the main event is open to the public, however everyone attending the Industry Day portion of event in Pass Christian, MS must be a Distribution D entity. Distribution D is defined as authorized Department of Defense and U.S. DoD contractors only. The purpose of NAVOCEANO's Industry Day is to solicit information regarding optionally controlled technology available within the industry. Further, NAVOCEANO is looking to determine the feasibility of preliminary requirements for optionally controlled HSL's. Please arrive between 0830 and 0900 to allow time to check in prior to the 0900 start time. Identification will be required at check-in. All discussions will be unclassified. No meals or beverages will be provided at the event. A tour of an HSL will be conducted during the event. Attendance is not a prerequisite for ultimately submitting a proposal at the time a request for proposal (RFP) is released or other involvement in the program. Advance questions and/or comments will be addressed at the Industry Day. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the Industry Day. All questions and answers will be recorded and posted to FedBizOpps within 15 calendar days of the Industry Day. The Government will not pay for information obtained during the event or for any time and expense of the participants. This announcement does not constitute a request for quote or request for proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a contract. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement nor will the Government return any data provided. An agenda will be posted prior to the event. Request to Access Statement of Requirements (SOR) To view the attached draft Statement of Requirements (SOR) for further information, please request access through FBO. Once access request is received, the government will review the request and grant access as applicable. Registration Information: Attendees shall register by sending the attached Registration Form to the following e-mail address NAVO_STNS_CONTRACTS@nmci-isf.com. The subject of the registration email must state " Optional Control HSL Industry Day Registration ". Final date to register is September 10, 2018, 10am. Registration is on first come first serve basis and is limited to two (2) attendees per firm. NAVOCEANO reserves the right to limit participation to one (1) attendee per firm if the event is oversubscribed Advanced Questions Information: Advance questions and/or comments pertaining to the Industry Day and draft Statement of Requirements shall be sent to NAVO_STNS_CONTRACTS@nmci-isf.com. Please complete the attached Question Request form. The subject of the registration email must state " Optional Control HSL Industry Day Questions ". Final date to submit questions is September 10, 2018, 10am.
