- UX Designers RFQ Package UX Designers RFQ letter Notice of Contract Action AFLCMC/HBBK intends to award a contract utilizing FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. IAW FAR 5.102(a)(1) the Request for Quote (RFQ) has been included with this NOCA. This RFQ was issued with a due date of 14 September 2018. The government IS NOT requesting quotes from offerors and WILL NOT evaluate any quotes received in response to this NOCA. This will be a limited sources, total small business set-aside under NAICS code 541715 (1,000 employees). In accordance with FAR 13.104, using market research information, the Government has already identified and notified five (5) qualified, responsible offerors for this competition. This effort is to acquire UX designers to establish a lean, user-centered approach that will ultimately redefine how software capability is delivered to the Air Force warfighter. This effort has a strong focus on engagement with the end user community to ensure we are rapidly meeting their highest priority needs. The Contractor shall provide an iterative and incremental implementation approach focused on user-centered design, while also keeping in mind mission, business and technological constraints. As such, the contractor shall provide five (5) UX Designers, requiring TS/SCI and SECRET level clearances, to transform legacy applications into cloud-native applications that will reside on a Platform as a Service (PaaS). This period of performance will be 30 Months (6 month base and two (2) 1 year options)
