Description
Draft SOW Signed J&A This is a Notice of Intent to Sole source to Odulair LLC, a Woman Owned Small Business. This is for 12 station portable dialysis trailers (2 trailers) currently located on the Island of St. Croix United States Virgin Island. This will be under NAICS code 621492 Kidney Dialysis Center. The dialysis trailers with 12 stations will treat evacuee dialysis patients returning to the island and patients already on the island. This will augment the hospital's lack of available stations. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response is responding to the need for additional dialysis stations to treat evacuee patients that should be returning to the USVI by early September and the local hospital does not have the capacity to treat additional patients. The contractor Odulair currently has 2 portable dialysis trailers on the island with a total of 12 stations and HHS's intention is to sole source to this woman owned small business because they are the only known company that have available for use, functional portable dialysis trailers on the island. The set up phase is at least week, so time is critical in having the trailers already on the island. The stations have to be functional and ready to use when the evacuated dialysis patients return. The trailers will be paid in TBD location on the island with access to local medical staff who will be treating the patients. The contract will be for a possible 7 months. Two month base period and five one month options.
