Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source W81XWH18Q0276 This notice announces the intent by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) to purchase the analytical laboratory equipment listed below on a sole source basis from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Biomeme, Inc. 1915 Chestnut Street, Suite 1401, Philadelphia, PA, 19107 as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The government will purchase the following items, which will be utilized by the Diagnostics Systems Division of USAMRIID for field research of infectious diseases. Part#:1000003; Description: Real-time PCR Thermocycler; Qty: 3 Part#:1000007; Description: Catphone S60 with Biomeme three9 Pro Software: Qty: 3 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.102(a)(6) and 5.203(a). This Special Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no written responses are received by the date listed below, which reflects five (5) days after the publication of this notice, the government intends to issue an award directly to Biomeme, Inc.
