- GFO - EL MALPIAS INTERPRETIVE EXHIBIT DESIGN This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 140L2218R0008 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with an open date of August 29, 2018 and a close date of September 13, 2018. The solicitation documents and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-100. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 541490 with a size standard of $7.50. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, facilities, and travel except as otherwise specified, to provide a plan for the basic spatial layout and content design for a cohesive exhibit within the El Malpais NCA Ranger Station. At least one site visit will be required. The deliverable end product will be an exhibit spatial layout and exhibit content design blueprint. Content of the exhibit will be created through collaboration between BLM representatives and the contractor. Fabrication and installation are not required for this contract. The contractor shall design interpretive panels and exhibits that may include photos, artwork, maps, or visual/interactive objects and meet the following requirements: Panels within the set must relate to one another visually and graphically, and display a unified design theme focused on the El Malpais NCA cultures and resources. The contractor will use the BLM provided input as a guide to produce the panel designs. The contractor will produce original artwork where required. All artwork will become the property of the BLM at the end of the project. Some artwork/photography may be supplied by the BLM. Attachments: Statement of Work, Blueprints, Evaluation Criteria, WD15-5451, and Sol_140L2218R0008. Award will be made to the offeror providing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://sam.gov.
