This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The items being requested are Welch Allyn vital sign monitoring equipment and accessories. This procurement is Brand Name only. The government will only accept the exact items specified in this RFQ as justified within the attached Justification and Approval document. The government intends to award a 1-year firm fixed-price Indefinite-Delivery, Requirements (IDC-Requirements) contract with four (4) 1-year options. All quantities specified in this RFQ are estimates only and represent the planned initial Delivery Orders that will be placed against the awarded contract. Additional Delivery Orders may be placed against the awarded contract for each facility on an as-needed basis. In accordance with FAR 16.503(a)(1) the Contracting Officer estimates that approximately $3.5 million will be expended over the life of the contract (inclusive of options). In accordance with FAR 16.503(a)(2) the Contracting Officer has identified the maximum award amount for the life of the contract identified below. Maximum: $5,000,000 Solicitation Number: 36C25818Q9494 Solicitation Type: Request for Quotation (RFQ) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-100 08/22/2018. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Concerns that have been verified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR § 74 VA Veteran-Owned Small Business Verification Guidelines and appear in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database found at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code associated with this procurement is 334510 and the small business size standard is 1250 employees.
