All responses due by 2:00pm Central, Friday, August 31, 2018 Jan.carlson@va.gov 913-946-1983 Contract Specialist Network Contracting Office 15 ATTACHMENT 1 GRAY MARKET PREVENTION LANGUAGE (a) Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This procurement is for new OEM medical equipment only for VA Medical Centers. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable.   (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system, verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. ATTACHMENT 2 STATEMENT OF REQUIRMENTS Intimate Partner Violence Resource Library Eastern Kansas Health Care System s (EKHCS) Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program Coordinator (DV/IPV) is a clinical social worker whose primary responsibilities are to develop, implement and manage EKHCS Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program, ensuring compliance and collaboration with VA Central Office Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program initiatives. The IPV Program Coordinator provides Veterans, family, Caregivers and staff education on domestic violence and intimate partner violence; community outreach; resource development; continuous quality improvement activities. In addition, the IPV Coordinator provides clinical evidence-based services including, assessments and interventions and evaluation/consultation to Veterans, their families, caregivers, and staff. The program focuses on developing a culture of safety and adopts a holistic, trauma-informed approach to services and support for those who experience and/or use IPV. This program is mandated nationally throughout the VA. Because of this mandate, and the newness of the program, the IPV Coordinator is requesting to acquire written materials to assist with providing clinical services to Veterans. In addition, resources will be available to the Veterans experiencing IPV in order to provide education and resources for them. Other VA clinicians will be able to access this information in order to be better informed about the program and how to appropriately treat patients that are victimized. The IPV coordinator has the responsibility to provide education to staff, Veterans, families and caregivers and having resources available to do that will be imperative to meeting their job requirements.
