- The U. S. Geological Survey, Leetown Science Center (LSC) has a requirement to remove and install (2) booster pumps that send water throughout the main wet lab for research purposes. The water passes through from existing gravity feed tower, they boost the pressure to the desired pressure for the wet lab. The project is located in Kearneysville, WV 25430. The project shall be completed within 21 days after notice to proceed is issued. There are no option periods. The magnitude of construction is under $20,000 -$30,000 Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0118Q0369 will be issued on or about 08/29/2018 with written quotes due on or about 09/13/2018. A site visit will be held. A minimum of 24 hours advance notice MUST be given to Poy Dodson 304-724-4457or rdodson@usgs.gov for attendees of the site visit. The date, time, and contact info for the site visit can be found on page 32 Section L.6. In the Request for Quote (RFQ). CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. This acquisition is total small business set-a-side. The NAICS code is 237110. The size standard is $36.5 million. The anticipated award date of the contract is 09/24/2018. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
