This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY.    It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the  Government to award a contract.  Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.  Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing.  The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of providing the requested commodities. The NAICS Code is 339112; size standard is 1000 Employees. 100% VOSB set-aside. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name  b) address (c) socio-economic status, (d) point of contact (e) phone, fax, and email (f) DUNS number (g) Cage Code (h) Tax ID Number (i) and must  provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability  to perform as a contractor and provide the commodities described below.       Telemetry Webcams See Statement of Work below. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. STATEMENT OF WORK GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: Global Clinical Access Telehealth Cart. Background: This system will function for TeleAudiology (counseling and remote hearing aid fittings), Aural Rehabilitation Classes, Cochlear Implant Sessions, Progressive Tinnitus Management workshops, manufacturer hearing aid training, weekly staff huddles and monthly staff meetings. The VA has an increased focus on telehealth and has set a goal of 20% of unique patients via this service delivery paradigm. Requirements for the system include: Wall mounted monitor 75" flat panel display x 2 which will allow for on-camera counseling (in these sessions, there are up to five VA CBOCS on the screen at a single time. A large monitor is required for the visualization of the Veterans; for participation and safety), PowerPoint viewing, video conferencing, and visualization of remote hearing aid fittings. The size of the monitors is critical for multi-modality inputs (vision) of our aging Veteran population. These are ultra-high-definition LED screens which improve clarity for site-to-site sharing of forms, PowerPoints, and hearing aids. WiFi capable which will allow for use of online hearing and speck pathology sites and Bluetooth projections of various hearing aid company apps. There are multiple inputs (USB and HDMI) to allow for demonstration and troubleshooting of various hearing aid ALDs. These devices have extremely low energy consumption at an estimated $21 annually. Will need Mirco Adjust tilt wall mount, x-large or equal. This will allow the two monitors to be adjusted to the audience of the room. Ceiling speakers that are vital for the wide array of sessions and workshops this equipment will be facilitating. Patients utilizing this equipment have significant communication challenges and speakers must correct for room reverberation. Need 8" Back Can and 70/100 V Transformer, Pair Ceiling microphone will be required for all involvement in remote conferencing and TeleAudiology to maximize communication of outgoing communication. Requires white microphone array, mounting base, 12" white drop-down cable, 24" white drop-down cable, 25' RJ-45 plenum rated cat 5 cable, RJ45 receptacle Handheld and lavalier combo wireless microphone will be used regularly during presentations to allow the presenter to walk the circumference of the room - SM58 handheld wireless microphone transmitter and WL 185 lavalier microphone - or equal.
