- Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to issue a sole source modification to General Dynamics Land Systems, Inc. for the continuation of services to manage, maintain, and operate the real property (buildings, structures, and property) as well as to maintain, repair, replace, or acquire Government-owned industrial and other plant equipment to support production work efforts located at the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center-Lima (JSMC-L) under contract W56HZV-13-C-0319. The modification will be sole source in accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The modification is planned to result in a one year, cost reimbursement (no fee) extension. The modification will increase the contract ceiling by $88M from $93M to $181M. The modification is anticipated to be awarded in the 4th quarter of Fiscal Year 2018. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561210. Although it is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source, General Dynamics Land Systems, Inc (Cage Code 7W356), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as synopsis. The modification pertaining to this notice will not be available for a minimum of 15 days from the date of this notice. Contractors should not call the buyer(s) or Procuring Contracting Officer seeking a copy of the modification (or other data) as none will be available until the modification is issued.
