Description

The Boston Healthcare System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Net smart Technologies, Inc., 3500 Sunrise Highway, Suite D122, Great River, New York 11739, to purchase a Database Management Service and Maintenance support package for a Methadone Dispensing System, to include an on-call, 24 hours Technical Maintenance Support Package. It is essential to the Government's needs to have the Net smart Methadone Dispensing System serviced by Net smart Technologies because they are the manufacturer and exclusive seller of their Avatar Computer Software, and since the VA prefers a Methadone Dispensing System that will have the ability to interface with the Department of Veterans Affairs Clinical Patient Record System (CPRS), which Netsmart is the only provider of and currently under contract with the VA to develop such an interface, that was the result of them being the only company to respond to a Department of Veteran Affairs Past synopsis. Vendor will supply licenses to utilize their services for Methadone dispensing system and a 24x7 Maintenance Agreement. Salient Characteristics Vendor will supply licenses, reporting practices, and maintenance aspects of the purchasing process. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than September 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Responses should be sent to Krisanne.rivera@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
