Description
This announcement is to provide notice that The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Natick Contracting Division, Ft. Detrick, on behalf of Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA intends to negotiate a sole source award under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to Kensci Inc, Seattle, WA, to support the requirement of a study of Microsoft Revolution software that utilizes the R based predictives model and for data science support initially to continue to develop, configure and tune the software for optimal performance in examining prescribing patterns, types of medications used to include similar products made as name brand and generics, as well as patient compliance with prescribed medications. The outcome will also track alarms worked by each pharmacist to seek ways to reduce alarm fatigue. This software has been previously approved and can be used on the military network. While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, responsible Business concerns purporting to have the requisite credentials and capabilities to provide this service to fulfill the agency's requirements at the specified location must furnish, in writing, factual information, which clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to sufficiently provide these services, within 5 days to Mr. Lee A. Hess, by email at lee.a.hess.civ@mail.mil. Any questions regarding this notice must be in writing only; no telephonic replies will be accepted. A determination not to compete this proposed action based on any responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer for this action is Mr. Lee A. Hess.
