Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Quotes are due by as soon as possible, but before September 15th, 1:00 p.m. (PST). The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333249 - Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing. The Base Contracting Office of the Portland Air National Guard in Oregon is soliciting quotes to procure the following supply or services: I. CLIN 0001 - 3D Printer Machinery To at least meet these specifications: - For machined aluminum tooling replacement - Printer must be enclosed and not require fume extraction. The chamber should be heated as required for the materials to be printed - Printed objects must have an appropriate functionality to secure tools within a CTK and repair station and AGE equipment and therefore should be able to function under high stress and extreme temperature. - Continuous fiber printing utilizing durable and temperature stable materials such as fiberglass and/or carbon fiber material. Examples of workable materials: Onyx, Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, Kevlar - It is necessary that the machine be powered by either standard 110v outlet or 240v as suitable - An ability to print in more cost effective prototyping materials (such as Onyx) would save valuable time and more expensive materials to test items which could also be produced through CNC reductive manufacturing - For accurate reproduction and fit and Z resolution accuracy of 100 micron or smaller is necessary. - To produce three dimensional models of objects to be printed, a CAD program is required, currently Autodesk AutoCAD is an approved software that would work well - A slicer (the program which converts a 3D model into "tool paths" or the movement of the printer head) is also required - Quantity: 1 II. CLIN 0002 - Shipping Delivery costs to Portland, OR 97218 -Requirements for your quote: Please submit a quote on your company letterhead showing a price per contract line item (CLIN) with at total price at the bottom. Include the following information on your quote: Cage code, Tax ID number, company name, phone number, contact, and email. The award will only be made to an offeror that is all-inclusive of the requirements on this solicitation. -Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made based on lowest price technically acceptable. -Terms and Conditions: Offerors must be actively registered on the Systems for Award Management database (SAM).
