Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # N4523A18Q1309 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99-1 dated 16 July 2018. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 332710 Machine Shops, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is 3408 - Machining Centers and Way-Type Machines. The Contract line item numbers (CLIN) will consist of: CLIN 0001: 1 each Trolley Wheels for Bridge Crane The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (1400 Farragut Ave., Bremerton, WA 98314) has a requirement for pilot bored travel wheels that will be installed onto existing crane axles for the crane trolley travel. The trolley travel wheels shall meet all the requirements of attachment 2.1.1 and specification. One (1) additional trolley travel wheel shall be manufactured for hardness testing as in paragraph 4.3 of the specification for PSNS & IMF, Bremerton, WA. PSNS intends to make a firm fixed price single award contract (FFP). See the attached SOW for additional information. Delivery of the equipment is FOB Destination, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility Estimated Delivery as follows: 15 weeks from award of contract Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award.
