- 2018 Naval Additive Manufacturing Technology Interchange (NAMTI) Meeting - Additive Manufacturing Industry Information Session Agency: Department of the Navy (DON) Office: Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV N4) Location:Alfred M. Gray Marine Corps Research Center Main Auditorium 2040 Broadway Street Quantico, VA 22134 Department of the Navy RDT&E, N4, and Headquarters Marine Corps, Installations and Logistics (HQMC I&L) are hosting the 2018 NAMTI informational event on Naval Additive Manufacturing in Quantico, VA. Registered industry and academia personnel are invited to participate on Tuesday, November 27th through Thursday, November 29th at the Alfred M. Gray Marine Corps Research Center, Main Auditorium, located at: 2040 Broadway Street Quantico, VA 22134 ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO U.S. CITIZENS ONLY All attendees shall be required to show either a Common Access Card (CAC), or proof of citizenship (U.S. Passport). There is no registration fee; however, pre-registration is required to attend this event. No walk-ins will be permitted. The agenda will cover the DON's Additive Manufacturing (AM) Vision and Implementation Plan, AM Materials Data Management, AM for Repair, AM Contracting, Cyberphysical Security of AM, Measuring the value of AM to DON. All briefings will be unclassified. A formal agenda will be provided to confirmed attendees. This exchange is for informational purposes only. While there is no formal Program of Record for DON AM, utilizing AM technology has the potential to significantly improve DON system capabilities, readiness, and support. NAMTI leadership is interested in pursuing cooperative activities with industry to improve AM capabilities, develop AM standards, and accelerate utilization of AM across the DON Industrial Base. REGISTRATION NOTE: Attendance will be limited to the first 200 industry participants who pre-register. Registration opens on Monday, September 17th. Working Group participation is not guaranteed, and assignments will be confirmed 2 weeks prior to the event.
