- Questions & Answers posting: Q1: Since an equal to scanner is being authorized for the bid we assume the vendor can propose their own software A: Yes we will need the software and drivers to install to local computers to enable it to work with SWFT+ Q2: Your SOW states the fingerprint systems will be for Background services however in Section 4. SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS you require law enforcement criminal bookings, as well as government and civilian background checks. Can you clarify if this is only for background checks. A2: Yes this will be for background checks only. Q3: I do not find a requirement for computers, does the Illinois National Guard have a preference for a desktop or laptop computer or will ILARNG be providing National Guard supplied computers? A3: These will be used with the current operator computers issued by the ILARNG. Q4: For the ten print scanners we would need the hardware along with any software/drivers that need to be installed to the local computers to enable it to work with SWFT+. A4: We will not be creating records therefore we will not require a software license.
