- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst is requesting information pertaining to the procurement of the Fiber Optic Repair Set (FORS), Part Number: FORS-Z99K1110S, NIIN: 01-528-5511 Interim Support Package. The Government is requesting information on the availability of Part Numbers: Nomenclature Part Number Clamp, Left SM/MM FORS-02LS11100 Clamp, Right SM/MM FORS-02RS11100 Clamp. Left Poly FORS-02LP11100 Clamp, Right Poly FORS-02RP11100 Clamp, Left 200 um FORS-02LM11200 Clamp, Right 200 um FORS-02RM11200 Consumable Ferrule Pack - SM/MM50/MM62.5 FORS-110S11100 Consumable Ferrule Pack - POLY FORS-110P11100 Consumable Ferrule Pack - 200MICRON FORS-110M11100 Consumable Component Pack - SM, MM50 FORS-100S11100 Consumable Component Pack - MM62.5 FORS-100M21100 Consumable Component Pack - POLY FORS-100P11100 Consumable Component Pack - 200MICRON FORS-100M11100 The purpose of the request for information is to identify potential contractors capable supplying the Interim Support Package. It is the Government's intent to procure adequate quantities of referenced parts to support the Fiber Optic Repair Set (FORS) for approximately two years after initial fielding. This RFI is to determine whether there are any contractors capable of supplying the Interim Support Package. It is requested that information be submitted NO LATER THAN 12 October 2018 to Mr. John Murtagh, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Code 2.5.2.1.2 B562-3, Highway 547, Lakehurst, NJ 08733-5082, or by electronic mail at: john.c.murtagh@navy.mil or to Mr. Alan McCarty, by electronic mail at: alan.mccarty@navy.mil. Respondents are notified that a formal solicitation MAY NOT necessarily result from the RFI. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this RFI nor will the Government compensate any respondent with costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. The Government will not release any information marked with a Proprietary legend, received in response to this RFI, to any firms, agencies, or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend.
