- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to enter into a contract for the furnishing of 3,200 tons of crushed rock aggregate materials. The contractor shall be responsible for the manufacture, storing, loading and weighing of the aggregate material. The aggregate materials furnished shall be obtained from a commercial sand and gravel operation holding a current operating permit/license for same issued by the State of Utah. The location where the material is stockpiled, loaded and weighed must be located no more than 15 road miles from the BLM's Operations facility in Moab, Utah. The solicitation number is 140L5718Q0065 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 212321 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
