- Sources Sought Notice ACC-WRN (ANAD) 13 September 2018 This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. Anniston Army Depot, Anniston Alabama will have a requirement to purchase maintenance and service to include all supervision, personnel, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, test devices, software support, transportation, lodging, travel expenses, and other items as necessary for the Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) and the Utility Metering and Control System (UMCS). This will be a contract modification to contract #W56HZ-16-C-0169 to add two additional performance periods. Period of performance - one year from date of modification with 1 option period of 1 year. This will bring the total contract period to 5 years. This requirement will be issued as sole-source to Alabama Controls. Interested businesses/companies should prepare a statement of capabilities to include the following: 1. Organization's name, address, email, telephone and website address 2. Alabama Controls is the proprietary sales and service provider for Schneider Electric I/A products and services for the state of Alabama. Please provide a written letter on company letterhead stating that Schneider Electric or Alabama Controls has released the rights to the proprietary software in order to perform the required services for your company. 2. Your company's size classification and socio-economic status in any response to this notice. 3. The government contemplates a firm-fixed price contract. Do you see any barriers to this contract type? Please explain. 5. Past Experience - describe your experience of similar type, size and complexity to that which is the subject of this Sources Sought. 6. Provide a listing of three (3) most recent and relevant projects your firm has performed. Include contract number, location, value period of performance and scope of work and point of contact. Responses to this notice must be submitted electronically to the Contract Specialist: Linda Carlston (256) 235-7559; email: linda.l.carlston.civ@mail.mil. (Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged). "EMCS - Sources Sought" must appear in the subject line of the email or it may be deleted and not read. Responses must be received no later than 24 September 2018 at 4:00 PM (CDT). DISCLAIMER AND IMPORTANT NOTES: This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any concern responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the concern's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received a solicitation MAY be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Your electronic submittal shall be submitted no later than 24 September at 4:00 PM (CDT). The Government will NOT accept requests for meetings or briefings. No phone solicitations or email with regards to the status of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be accepted prior to its release.
