Description
SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ number is 12639518Q0284. The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-99. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 335999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A list of line items, quantities, delivery location, etc. are described in the attached SOW. 1. Two (2) 15 kVA/13,500 Watt Digital Tower Battery Backup UPS and Power Conditioner for Sensitive Electronics unit 2. Six (6) 10 kVA/9,000 Watt Digital Tower Battery Backup UPS and Power Conditioner for Sensitive Electronics units 3. Two (2) 6 kVA/5,400 Watt Digital Tower Battery Backup UPS and Power Conditioner for Sensitive Electronics units 4. One (1) 3 kVA/2,700 Watt Digital Tower Battery Backup UPS and Power Conditioner for Sensitive Electronics unit 5. One (1) 2 kVA/1,800 Watt Digital Tower Battery Backup UPS and Power Conditioner for Sensitive Electronics unit 6. One (1) 1.5 kVA/1,350 Watt Digital Tower Battery Backup UPS and Power Conditioner for Sensitive Electronics unit 7. Two (2) Hardwire 2/3 SOOW, 2 AWG 3-conductor power cords 8. Six (6) NEMA 6-50 power cords with straight blade plugs 9. Two (2) NEMA L6-30 power cords with twist lock plugs 10. Ten (10) 120/208-240 Volt AC Power Distribution Units with ¼" Ring Terminals In addition to the base configuration, the battery backup UPS units must meet the following technical requirements: 1. Advanced UPS - the units must synchronize internal battery power with utility power to permit a seamless transfer to backup power alone should utility power be lost. 2. Power Line Conditioner - programmable modes to allow the user flexibility in how the unit handles power output, from Constant Voltage Constant Frequency (CVCF) mode for steady output regardless of input voltage or frequency, to Economy mode which allows more variability in output but with higher efficiency than CVCF mode. 3. Surge Protection - the units will be equipped with circuit breaker protection which will protect the connected lab equipment from damage from dangerous power surges. 4. Weight - maximum weight for any one battery backup UPS unit is 375 pounds. 5. Dimensions - maximum dimensions for any one battery backup UPS unit is 13x36x26 inches (WxHxD). The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is technically acceptable lowest price. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration in SAM is free.
