Description
Sources Sought/Request for Information 36C25618U0411 Market Research is being conducted, and this Sources Sought is issued to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing the requirement for KARL STORZ Endoscope Lease. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 seeking vendors capable of providing the leasing of Karl Storz Otolaryngology/ENT Video System and Video Cart equipment is needed to support existing flexible and rigid ENT scopes already in use in the operating room at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, 510 E. Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71101. This Sources Sought is not a request for competitive quotes. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes, and it does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. The VA is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought RFI; all costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. The following equipment is required for lease for a base year and two option years: Requirements: The 4K ENT VIDEO SYSTEM VIDEO CART unit provides superb imaging with high spatial, temporal and contrast resolution on a 32-inch monitor, with little to no adjustment required. The video system will provide 4U-Head 4K Camera Head for 4U-Link Module with built in pointer-grid visualization. Camera Control Unit MUST include KARL STORZ Clara Chroma enhancement technology. IMAGE1 S Chroma identifies and brightens up dark areas and does this dynamically and in real time without overexposing the bright part of the image. 4k platform for both the camera heads and the camera connect/modules Modular design for future expandability to 3D, IRG, etc. Built-in Chroma enhancement Built-in Clara enhancement On screen Pointer visualization feature On screen Grid visualization feature Screen saver for monitor burn-in protection Dashboard display with warnings and information application Built in PIP (Picture in Picture) 20 Programmable Presets 4k Camera Head with no separate modular couplers and include an integrated digital zoom This 4K ENT Video System Video Cart must be compatible with the Karl Storz TH120 4K Camera Heads and existing Karl Storz digital ENT scopes. This new equipment supports critical, high volume procedures for Otolaryngology Service Any business that believes it can provide leasing of Karl Storz Urology Flexible Video Scopes with associated peripherals may give written notice to arlene.blade@va.gov by 11:00 am CST on September 21, 2018. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Please acknowledge if your company is a certified authorized provider of Karl Storz equipment and maintenance support services. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
