- The FLCN Contracting Department Philadelphia Office intends to issue a solicitation with a requirement to remove/relocate existing office equipment located at the NDU (National Defense University) in Fort L.J. McNair, Washington DC. The moves will be determined based upon the execution and completion of renovations and excess furniture within buildings 59, 61, 62 and 64. This acquisition is being processed IAW FAR Parts 13 and will be set aside for Woman-owned small business. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 484210, with a size standard of $27.5 million. The period of performance will be from November 1, 2018 to October 30, 2019, with 3 Option years. These dates are subject to change. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring of the below mentioned website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The Government will neither award a contract nor pay for information in response to this notice. Additional information for this requirement will be listed in the solicitation upon its release, which is anticipated to be in October 2018, to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (www.neco.navy.mil). Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for award. Those firms believing that they have a service capable of satisfying this requirement may submit a capability statement to the Government in response to this synopsis. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
