Description
The contractor will provide all labor, material, supervision, tools, equipment and transportation required to perform the following security gates upgrade at the Housing site, OLF Joe Williams, East Gate Runway and various work located at front area. Work includes but is not limited to the following a. Provide a pivoting gate with 20 foot leaves (40 foot total) on each side similar in construction methods and appearance as the Rosenbaum gate system. Gate shall include all footings, cable systems and lock system. New Gate shall go in the approximate location as the existing, provide all necessary temporary fence and gate systems during construction to maintain security of the base and to allow emergency vehicles access. At Joe Williams Airfield Provide a pivoting gate with 15 foot leaves (30 foot total) on each side similar in construction methods and appearance as describe in 1.0 New Gate shall be located approximately 10 feet beyond the original gate leading into government property. Provide a 7+1 chain link fence with barb wire and cable reinforcement with dead-man system between the brickwork and new gate. Ensure to tie the gate and dead man system together. Note Existing gate shall remain. At main gate entrance, Install new deadman anchoring system at 200ft at west fence line in accordance with UFC 4-022-03 figure 2-5. The 200ft mark is measured from the north end of fence, exact location is marked in field. Ensure to tension existing cables in the system after installing additional dead mans. New deadman shall be of the same rating as the present installed system. Install new deadman anchoring system at 200ft at east fence line in accordance with UFC 4-022-03 figure 2-5. The 200ft mark is measured from the north end of fence, exact location is marked in field. Ensure to tension existing cables in the system after installing additional dead mans. New deadman shall be of the same rating as the present installed system. Install new deadman anchoring system at southwest corner. Deadman shall be split system with cables crossing over each other into the deadman. Note: Each anchor deadman shall not be reduced in size requirements however deadman may be placed together in a common form. Provide cost per 10 foot section of installed standard 7+1 fence with posts to replace either existing chain link fence or hog type fence. Dispose of removed material off base.
