- Draft CLIN Structure CEVT Draft System Requirements Document (SRD) CEVT Draft Statement of Work (SOW) CEVT Synopsis W900KK-19-R-0080 Construction Equipment Virtual Trainer (CEVT) This notice is to update the previous Construction Equipment Virtual Trainer (CEVT) solicitation number from W900KK-18-R-0036 to a new Fiscal Year 2019 (FY19) solicitation number W900KK-19-R-0080. This is a synopsis for the Construction Equipment Virtual Trainer (CEVT) from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEOP STRI), Program Manager Training Devices (PM TRADE), Product Manager Virtual Training Systems (PdM VTS). The Government intends to issue solicitation W900KK-19-R-0080 on or about November 1, 2018. It is the Government's intent to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Single Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with an ordering period of five years and an estimated ceiling of $27M. The Government will be Contracting by Negotiation in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This procurement will be a full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333318, Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, size standard is 1000 employees. Product Service Code (PSC) is 6910, Training Aids. Requirement: PEO STRI, at the request of Product Manager for Combat Engineer/Material Handling Equipment (PdM CE/MHE) and the United States Army Engineer School (USAES), is to provide Construction Equipment Virtual Trainer (CEVT) to both train Soldiers upon initial entry and transition from classroom to actual equipment by proving a null risk training environment. CEVT shall provide realistic and challenging training using simulated terrain and movement characteristics that enable the student to transfer motor skills from simulator to construction equipment. CEVT allows Soldiers to perform construction tasks that vary from leveling earth to excavating a trench and from constructing a stockpile to loading a haul unit. The proposed contract will allow the Army to procure, install, and maintain motion based simulators for five types of construction equipment: Motor Grader 120M, Scraper 621G, Dozer D7R, Wheel Loader 924H, and Excavator 2040.
