Description

PLEASE READ THE SOLICITATION IN ITS ENTIRETY PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUESTIONS. MOST FAQ s ARE ANSWERED IN THE SOLICITATION. SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, 6162 S Willow Drive, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to solicit sources to enter into one firm-fixed price contract to provide on-site Emergency Department physician services for its Veteran population at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System (VASLCHCS) located at 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84148. The Contractor shall furnish board certified or board eligible physician(s) to provide services necessary to perform onsite Emergency Department Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VA Salt Lake City Health Care System. All Contractor physician(s) shall have a current faculty appointment with the University of Utah School of Medicine, in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The Contractor s physician (s) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property. All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor s physician (s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract. Reimbursement methodology shall be on full time employee equivalent (FTE) hourly basis, the Contractor will be reimbursed only for hours completed. The solicitation package will be available for download on or about October 9, 2018. Proposals submitted shall be due no later than 4:00 p.m. mountain time on October 15, 2018. The applicable NAICS code is 621111 with a small business size standard of $11.0 million. This solicitation is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The solicitation reference is 36C25918R0014, Emergency Department Physician Services, and should be referenced in all correspondence/inquiries. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. Any amendments to this solicitation will be available at this website and offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to this solicitation at this website prior to the time of responding to the solicitation.
