- Post-Award Synopsis N00019-18-RFPREQ-PMA-257-0145 On 28 September 2018, the Naval Air Systems Command, awarded contract N00019-18-C-0089 utilizing competitive procedures under PEO(T) Broad Agency Announcement N00019-18-R-0007, to Moog Inc., Salt Lake City, UT, for a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) detection system for the AV-8B program at MCAS Yuma with a priced option to install a FOD system at MCAS Cherry Point as well. Moog Inc. will provide a comprehensive FOD detection system that reduces FOD induced engine repair costs and increases the operational readiness and safety of flight by reducing FOD rates at the designated site.
