- HOOVER NOISE ABATEMENT STAIRWELLS: Polyester Noise Absorbing Wall Panels The purpose of this amendment is to upload an amended Statement of Work, and extend the quote due date to allow vendors to respond. Please note that the amendment #3 released the original Statement of Work attachment, and the amended one did not upload correctly. The new Statement of Work is titled: SOW_Final, and is for polyester panels, not glass fiber panels. PLEASE REVIEW THE AMENDED STATEMENT OF WORK THAT HAS BEEN UPLOADED AS OF 10/10/2018. The solicitation displaying on FedBizOps is not showing the correct amendment number, so PLEASE SEE THE SOLICITATION THAT IS POSTED TO FEDCONNECT.GOV FOR THE MOST CURRENT AND ACCURATE STATEMENT OF WORK. Purchase Request No. 40404458Solicitation No. 140R3018Q0230 Title of the Acquisition: Noise Abatement/Acoustic Panels This is an combined solicitation/synopsis to obtain quotes using FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is a total small business set aside. The NAICS Code is 337214 with a small business size standard in number of employees of 1,000. In addition to the requirements of the Instructions to Offerors - Competitive Acquisitions provision, the contractor shall complete the attached Required Information Sheet with pricing information, and must specify if their product meets the specifications, or not. Also, contractor shall submit manufacturer ¿s product specifications, to include make and model. Award will be based upon Best Value taking into consideration technical capability (ability to meet the requirements of the Statement of Work) and price. Technical capability is more important than price. The contractor must also be aware of the requirement to maintain an active SAM.gov registration during the period of performance, and through final payment. In accordance with 31 U.S.C. 3332, electronic funds transfer (EFT) is required for payments and will be included in the resulting purchase order. This is also in accordance to DOI-AAAP-0028 DOI IPP Process. Description of Need: Noise abatement/acoustic wall panels cut to various sizes, delivered (see Statement of Work for further details).
