Description

Description: Makino MAG3.EX CNC 5-Axis Machining Center in accordance with technical specification VIBB 18-35-1003. FOB to Destination. Final inspection and acceptance at Destination. Destination is Robins AFB, GA. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for November 1, 2018 @ 8:00 a.m. and is subject to change. Additional instruction will be included in the solicitation. Solicitation number SPM4A8-19-Q-0004 will be issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), other than full and open competition, and FAR 13.5, Commercial Test Item Program and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. The performance period is 365 calendar days after receipt of order. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. Anticipated solicitation date is October 17, 2018. A copy of the solicitation will be available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations/. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, enter the solicitation number you wish to download in the DIBBS Global Solicitation Search box on the right side of the screen and click "Go". The DIBBS Global Solicitation Search box will extend downward with results. Next to "RFP/IFB/other RFQ Records," click the blue line "1 Click to view." Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat reader. This software is available free at https://www.adobe.com. All responsible sources may submit a quotation sufficient to determine capability which may be be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted not later than the closing date and time as listed. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/), ORCA, and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. All quotes received after the closing date listed may be considered "late" and may not be considered for award.
