- Request for Proposal The USDA, AMS, Cotton and Tobacco Program is seeking a contractor to produce a Color / Trash (C/T) module, a fully automatic cotton imaging instruments. The Contractor shall furnish, as required, the equipment, software, full service commercial warranty, full service maintenance, and other services required for the installation and support of all items supplied under this contract. Such equipment, software, maintenance, and other Contractor support services shall conform to the terms and conditions of the attached Request for Proposal (RFP). A pre-proposal conference will be held October 23, 2018 at 9:00 am - 11:00 am central time. Location is 3275 Appling Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38133. A teleconference line will be available. Please email Beverly Brown at BeverlyS.Brown@usda.gov if you plan to attend the conference. Questions regarding the RFP should be submitted in writing prior to the conference. Email questions to BeverlyS.Brown@usda.gov. The pre-proposal conference will not be recorded and notes will not be posted in FBO regarding the conference. The last day to submit questions is November 5, 2018 at 3:00 pm central. Questions submitted after November 5, 2018 is not guaranteed to receive an answer. No other meetings, conferences, or site visits will be held. All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted in FBO. Proposals may be emailed to BeverlyS.Brown@usda.gov. Proposals are due on November 15, 2018 at 3:00 pm central time. DO NOT WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE TO EMAIL PROPOSALS. FILE SIZE MAY DELAY RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS. IF PROPOSAL IS NOT RECEIVED BY THE DUE DATE AND TIME, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED LATE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
