- Description
- The Indian Health Service (IHS), Billings Area, Crow Service Unit, intends to award a non-competitive, sole-source Purchase Order (PO) to Nemont Telephone Co-Operative, Inc., Scobey, MT. 59263, for Wired Telecommunication and High-Speed Internet (data circuit) Services for the Crow Service Unit, Crow/No Cheyenne Hospital and Lodge Grass Health Center. The contractor, Nemont Telephone Co-Operative, is the only telephone service and data circuit provider in the geographical areas of Crow Agency and Lodge Grass, Montana. The Purchase Order shall comprise of a 12 month period for local and long distance wired telecommunication and high speed internet (data circuit) services. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 2:00 pm MST, October 24, 2018, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses may emailed to Ron.Juneau@IHS.GOV, by the deadline stated above. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by that date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
