- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to award Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) a sole-source, Fixed Price and Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Contract under Solicitation N0001919R0004 for hardware and support services, as required, for AN/APR-39C(V)2 and AN/APR-39D(V)2 systems. This contract is planned to contain a base year with two option years, and is intended to satisfy Government requirements for Fiscal Year(FY)20 through FY22 with a best estimated quantity of 100 systems per year. The anticipated award date is February 2020. These requirements will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NGSC is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the AN/APR-39 systems. As such, it is the only responsible source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge required to meet the Government's requirement. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or be responsible for any money expended by the interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above; information herein is subject to change, and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract.
