- This notice is a pre-solicitation only and is NOT a request for quote or proposals. The requirement will be set aside as Competitive 8(a). This notice is posted for informational purposes only. The Government is seeking a contractor who can provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Expert Witness and Enforcement-Related Compliance Assistance for the Directorate of Enforcement Programs (DEP) within in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The Government anticipates a single award IDIQ contract with a five year ordering period allowing for labor-hour task orders with the same fixed hourly rates throughout the IDIQ's period of performance. All vendors who wish to do business with the Department of Labor (DOL) must be registered and approved through the System for Award Management (SAM). This is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidates the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, and EPLS. The entire solicitation will be issued electronically approximately on or about 15 days after this notification and can be located at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) at https://www.fbo.gov. The Contractors are responsible for downloading all documents from the FBO website. It is therefore the vendor's responsibility to check the website frequently for the solicitation and any posted amendments to the solicitation. When issued, the solicitation will specify the actual date and time for proposal receipt. No telephone request will be honored.
