Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(B), Only one responsible source is capable of providing the services required that will satisfy agency requirements, CareFusion Solutions, LLC, 3750 Torrey View Ct. San Diego, CA 92130. CareFusion Solutions, LLC will provide preventative maintenance provide unlimited full-service coverage on the CareFusion Pyxis brand products located at each VISN 15 medical center as well as labor, travel, parts and software upgrades. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 Million. The solicitation number is VA25519Q0032. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price BPA with a period of performance of twelve (12) month Base year plus four option years. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 22 October 2018 at 2:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement VA255-19Q0032, Notice of Intent. If after 22 October 2018, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with CareFusion Solutions, LLC. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
