- The purpose of this fourth amendment is to provide a response to a question received from Industry: 1. Question: During the Systems Simulation, Software and Integration (S3I) Industry Day held on 20 SEP 2018 at the Jackson Center, S3I leadership briefed their Proposed Future Contract Strategy for Business Support services in the Business & Analytical or Programmatics Domain using the NAICS Code 541330, Engineering Services. Will the Government re-consider its acquisition strategy and change the NAICS for this opportunity to 541611? S3I Response: The NAICS for Business Support services in the Business & Analytical or Programmatics Domain was inadvertently identified as 541330 in lieu of 541611. The current strategy for Business Support services will be solicited in either the B&A or Programmatic domain of EXPRESS, which carries a NAICS code of 541611. This is based upon preliminary market research and all future acquisitions will be based upon final definition of the requirements and the results from market research. The NAICS code for any resultant acquisition is subject to change upon definition of final requirements.
