- Wage Determination Specifications Statement of Work Combined Synopsis Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the documents incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-100, 8/22/2018. This procurement is a total small-business set aside. The NAICS code is 561720 and the Small Business Size Standard is $18 million. The Huron-Manistee National Forests announces an opportunity for janitorial service at the Huron Shores Ranger Station. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies and incidentals necessary to complete the required janitorial services, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work, for the Huron-Manistee National Forests' Huron Shores Ranger Station located at 5761 N Skeel Ave., Oscoda, MI 48750. The Government intends to award a fixed price contract for a base period of approximately ten (10) months and four option periods of eleven (11) to twelve (12) months each. The estimated start date is November 9, 2018. The scope of this work is continuous janitorial service for one office building and one fire annex as well as once a year thorough cleaning of three (3) seasonal apartment units at the fire annex "sixplex". The main office building is a single story structure with three (3) entrances and two (2) multi-stall restrooms. The building has approximately 5,600 square feet. The flooring has both carpet and hard surfaces (linoleum, tile); with approximately 85% carpeted and 15% tile or linoleum. There are approximately 20-35 employees with additional employees during the field season. The fire annex is a two story structure with one (1) main entrance, three (3) rarely used entrances, and four (4) individual restrooms. Three (3) of the restrooms have tub/showers. The building has approximately 2,400 square feet. The flooring has carpet and hard surfaces (wood floors, linoleum, tile); with approximately 50% carpeted. There are approximately 5-10 full time employees with 10+ additional employees during the fire season. Inspection of the building prior to submitting quotation is recommended.
