- Clauses and Provisions Statement of Requirements for Travel Trailers Description - This solicitation is issued in response to a pre-solicitation posted on 5 Oct 2018 to purchase recreation vehicles that are travel trailers and fifth wheel trailers available for immediate purchase. All items sold to FEMA shall be new, never used, nor have been lent or rented. A variety of trailers will be purchased with sleep capacity ranging from 3 to 8 persons. As many as 400 trailers could be purchased from this solicitation. This procurement is Small Business Set-aside for Local Firms in the state of North Carolina. The resulting award will be multiple BPAs to supply trailers and fifth wheel units to be delivered to the staging area located at 1200 Cargo Drive Kinston, NC 28504. Awards will be made using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Please see attached documents for a more detailed Travel Trailer Statement of Requirements and Contract clauses and provisions. Quotes submitted in response to this solicitation shall be valid for 90 days from the date the solicitation closes. Response Dates: Quotes from this solicitation are due by 2 PM EST Friday 19 Oct 2018. Send quotes to John Clemons at john.clemons@fema.dhs.gov. Questions in regard to this solicitation are due by 1 PM EST Wendesday October 17, 2018. Questions must be sent via email to John Clemons at john.clemons@fema.dhs.gov. Basis of award will be Best Value to the US Government.
