- (Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.) The Embassy of the United States in Dakar, SENEGAL will issue a solicitation for Gardening, Landscaping and ground maintenance Services and other related services for both the chancery and its residences. The contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel, materials and transportation that are necessary to accomplish all work required. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting its proposal: • Be able to understand written and spoken English; • Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing; • Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work; • Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The solicitation (SF1449), all attachments, and all amendments will be published for viewing and printing from the FedBizOpps website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps www.fbo.gov website for the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. QUESTIONS: Questions will not be accepted at this time; however, interested parties may submit questions regarding this requirement after the solicitation is posted on FedBizOpps.
