- Sole Source Document THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source, to: Life Technologies Corporation 3175 Staley Road Grand Island, NY 14072 Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following items: (1) 384-Well Hard-shell Plate Clear, 20 PCS PK; (1) Ion 540 Kit-Chef (2/Initial) 8 RXNS; (1) Ion code Adapter 384, 3840 RXNS 4 Plates; (1) Bovine ISAG Parentage (2013) Kit; (1) Ion 540 Chip Kit Each; (1) Ion code BC Adapter 385-768 Kit; and (1) AGRISEQ Library Kit 9600 1 EA, Effective from 10/22/2018 through 12/31/2018 Shipping to SUBTROPICAL HORTICULTURE RESEARCH STATION 13601 OLD CUTLER ROAD MIAMI, FL 33158 The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516; the small business size standard is 1000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
