- HOPI DEMOLITION OF QUARTERS This is a pre-solicitation announcement is to notify vendors/firms that the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Western Regional Office (WRO) anticipates release of a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for demolition of single housing quarter building #226 at First Mesa School, Polacca, AZ; office building #4, Keams Canyon, AZ; single family quarters #36, Keams Canyon, AZ; multi family quarters buildings #54 & #55, Keams Canyon, AZ, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Hopi Agency, Navajo County, AZ on the Hopi Indian Reservation. This procurement is a 100% Indian Economic Enterprise/IEE Set-Aside for both small and large Native American Indian/Native Alaskan owned enterprises under the Buy Indian Act. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors. FAR 36.204 Disclosure of Magnitude for this requirement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. All technical details pertaining to this requirement will be provided in the RFQ solicitation document to be made available on the fbo & fedconnect websites the approximate week of 11-19-2018 for the public at large. No hardcopies of the RFQ solicitation document will be available. The anticipated period of performance of the resulting contract will be 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed effective date. All qualifying vendors must have a registered DUNS number and must have active registration in SAM.gov. After the RFQ solicitation document has been issued, written questions may be submitted to Paul Robinson, Contract Specialist, at paul.robinson@bia.gov.
