Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2 is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing ongoing hosting of the www.gerischolars.org website. This service provides website hosting, content development under the direction of the Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC), and data security. The period of performance for this service is from 12/26/2018 TO 12/25/2019, and the contract shall include four additional option years. Vendors capable of hosting the site must provide evidence they meet the following criteria: Ability to continue the hosting and maintenance of the customized Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) website, www.gerischolars.org used to provide continuing education in geriatrics. Must meet and certify in their response they meet Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 compliance. Proof MUST be submitted in their response. Dedicate servers to ensure appropriate operational resources are available at all times. Ensure they can accommodate at least 200 simultaneous learners at any given time, maintain a minimum of 2,000 registered learners, and be flexible to program growth. Those capable of providing these services should submit a capabilities statement, along with proof they meet Section 508 compliance. Additionally, those interested and capable shall provide their DUNS Number as well as their Socioeconomic status in their response to this posting. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/ socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 518210. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov).
