NMC San Diego Labor and Delivery Beds RFI Questions and Answers Sources Sought Solicitation# N0025919Q0004 -Please verify the response time for sources sought, both 7am and 5pm PST are listed on FBO. 7am PST -Is a DLA contract required? No -Will this be a LPTA or Best Value request? It does not have to be either. -Is it required to have a RMF ATO? No -Is it required to have birthing beds that are 2-52 compliant? No -Is battery backup required for bed functions during transport or in case of power outage? Yes, a backup battery that enables the bed to function independently from a wall power source is required. -Is it required to have a foot section that slides and stores under the bed? Yes, due to occupational safety concerns for our staff and the limited space in the labor rooms. The foot section should remain attached and store under bed. -What type of mattress is required: foam or air in lumbar & seat? Either mattress is fine. -Is a Comfort Pad required? Comfort pad is optional. -Anticipated date for product demonstration? January
