Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Iliana Healthcare System VISN 12, 1900 East Main Street Danville Illinois 61832, under the authority of FAR 13 (41 U.S.C. 1901 and implemented for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) ), intends to request quotation on a sole source basis with Clinicomp International, INC to facilitate the maintenance and ongoing functionality of the VA Iliana Healthcare facility Clinical Information System. NAICS 334111, with a size standard of 1250 employees applies. CliniComp International Inc. (CCI) is the developer and manufacturer of a Clinical Information System (CIS), which includes central computer hardware, peripheral data acquisition hardware and software, and central software. This system was originally installed at VA Danville in 2015. Being a proprietary system, CliniComp Intl. is the only organization authorized to provide service and support for the system. Clinicomp International will provide preventative maintenance and repair to ensure continued facility use and to prevent avoidable downtime. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and services, including transportation cost necessary to provide Maintenance Services for the VA Iliana Health Care System clinical information system, for the period of one year after Date of award plus two (2) one (1) year option periods. Services are to be provided in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract. Any respondent to this notice must show that they have the capability to provide maintenance, repair and support for the Clinicomp Clinical Information System (CIS). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm CDT on Friday, November 2, 2018. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
