Description
Sources Sought Notice This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources (small and other than small) to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 561210 and sized standard is $38.5M. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. Project requirements: Annual Cleaning, Inspection & Sampling of Fuel Oil and Fuel Oil Tanks. NFPA I IO (A.8.3.7) & Joint Commission require that all Underground Storage Tanks (UST's) be inspected & fuel stored in tanks be sampled and tested annually IAW ASTM D975. In addition, NFPA I IO A.7.9.\.2 states to have provisions for water drainage on a regular basis since the presence of water can lead to microbiological contamination and growth which the annual cleaning accomplishes. Scope of Work: Vendor to perform bottom cleaning of seven (7) Fuel oil Storage tanks that contain No.2 Diesel Fuel by High Velocity Recirculation, removal of water bottoms if necessary, recording conditions of caps, gaskets, fittings and vents and provide written documentation of inspection and fuel sample results within one month of completion. Vendor shall add necessary Stabilizers and Biocides to all tanks to control the growth of microbes. Tank Capacities are as follows. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
